Historic mountain sanctuary and reserve near Catas Altas with two guesthouses (Pousada do Caraça and Pousada Fazenda do Engenho). Wild maned wolves come up to the church forecourt at night to eat from a tray put out by the sanctuary, giving overnight guests close views and photographs.
