About

A seasonal hide set up each year at a southern carmine bee-eater nesting colony on the Luangwa River, sometimes on a moored boat and sometimes on a sandbank, reached by wading with an armed scout. It seats six, works best at dawn, and is guaranteed only in September and October; guests from Kaingo and Mwamba rotate through it.
