South Georgia and Antarctic Peninsula: Epic Wildlife Encounters with a Smooth Fly-Back

Outside protected areasby Cheesemans' Ecology Safaris

A 21-day expedition cruise on the Magellan Discoverer that sails from Ushuaia to South Georgia and the Antarctic Peninsula, then flies back from King George Island to Punta Arenas instead of recrossing the Drake Passage. Cheesemans' trips are built around long landings and unhurried time with wildlife, aimed at photographers and naturalists; South Georgia's king penguin colonies at St Andrews Bay and Salisbury Plain are the centrepiece.
