The original lodge on the Iguela Lagoon facing Loango National Park, with satellite camps (Akaka forest camp, Tassi savannah camp) used to reach beaches where elephants, hippos and buffalo come out of the forest. The area is known for forest elephants on the beach, humpback whales offshore and habituated gorillas.
