Prairie Wind Birding Tours Greater Prairie-Chicken Lek Blind

Outside protected areasby Prairie Wind Birding Tours (Kent and Robyn Hubbert)

Family-run greater prairie-chicken tours on a private lek near Kearney, Nebraska. Guests are driven about a mile to blinds with padded seating and room for large camera gear, watch a two to three hour display at close range, then return to the hosts' farm for refreshments. Pairs well with the spring sandhill crane migration on the Platte.
