About

A partly sunken overnight photographic hide with 180-degree views over a busy waterhole (formerly Pete's Pond), opened in October 2024 and designed with C4 Photo Safaris and Shem Compion. It sleeps up to four for exclusive use, with a kitchen, lounge, bathroom, guide's room and editing space; motion sensors wake guests and adjustable lighting allows night shooting. It is booked as an add-on to a stay at a Mashatu camp.
