Lodge
Kvíar Lodge
Inside Hornstrandirby Borea Adventures
A restored farmhouse in the Hornstrandir Nature Reserve with no road access. Guests arrive by boat from Ísafjörður and land on the beach by Zodiac. Borea uses it as the base for multi-day Arctic fox photography trips in winter and in the midnight-sun season. The lodge has a wildlife hide for bad weather, and the foxes there are unhunted and used to people.
